TRILITY is seeking an  Electrical Service Technician (or another trade background with a restricted electrical licence) to join our team in Darwin, NT. 

Our workshop is based in Winnellie but travel to client sites across Northern Territory and other states are a requirement of this role (a significant amount of onsite work may be required in peak periods)

The role

You will be responsible for providing service and repairs, in both the field and workshop. This includes: 

  • Carrying out in-house and field service, repair, and maintenance including PVC pipe work and chemical dosing pump maintenance 

  • Assess and repair/service equipment returned from the field. 

  • Respond to callouts for service/repair, and to accident/emergency callouts.

  • Perform installations and commissioning of equipment and systems.

  • Maintain up to date customer records. 

  • Support the sales activities of our Sales team.

  • Maintain technical skills, relevant inductions, and licences. 

  • Comply with TRILITY’s safety and operational procedures.

What we are looking for

The successful applicant will have the following skills and abilities:

  • Current Electrical qualification, Instrumentation qualification or Certificate III Engineer (Fitter and Turner)

  • Literacy and numeric skills to a nationally recognised standard

  • Ability to read and interpret from electrical and technical drawings

  • Current Driver’s License

  • St. Johns first aid to basic level (desirable but not essential)

  • Customer service focus is essential

  • Team member who focuses on benefits for the company as a whole

  • Ability and willingness to take responsibility for the job and its outputs

  • A positive attitude especially when working under pressure and organising work priorities to meet deadlines
