The Reserve Bank of Australia's Banking Department provides a range of banking services to Australian Government departments and agencies. Our Canberra Branch plays a critical role in delivering these services locally, supporting customers through both digital and traditional banking channels.

As a Bank Officer, you will join a small, collaborative team and report to the Canberra Branch Manager. You will work closely with colleagues across Banking teams, contributing to the delivery of day-to-day banking services and ensuring a high standard of customer support.

• Provide high-quality customer service, including processing daily banking transactions
• Support the Help Desk for the RBA's Online Banking Service and assist customers with enquiries
• Maintain internal and customer accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Perform daily reconciliation processes and reporting activities
• Assist with counter and teller services as required
• Undertake general administrative duties, including records management

• Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Previous customer service experience is desirable but not essential
• A willingness to learn and develop
