About the role:

We are looking for a Finance Business Partner – Operations, to support factory site operations across QLD and VIC, delivering accurate financial reporting, insights, and performance analysis.

You will partner with operational leaders to drive cost efficiencies, improve plant performance, and support informed decision-making to achieve business objectives.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyse financial and non-financial data for monthly reporting, budgets, and forecasts across manufacturing sites
• Maintain integrity of factory financials (P&L and Balance Sheet), including reconciliations and ledger accuracy
• Support financial analysis on production costs, plant efficiency, and material usage variances
• Assist with standard costing processes across all factories
• Coordinate and oversee stocktake and cycle count processes, ensuring strong controls and compliance
• Identify cost reduction and profit improvement opportunities, supporting continuous improvement initiatives (WCM)
• Provide analysis and commentary for management reporting, highlighting risks, issues, and variances
• Support capital expenditure evaluations, including scenario analysis and payback modelling
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and financial procedures
• Partner with operations, engineering, logistics, and finance teams to support business performance
• Contribute to process improvements, system changes, and master data governance

What you bring to the role:

• CA or CPA qualified with at least 4+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of accounting and financial controlling principles
• Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate financial insights clearly
• Experience with SAP (Financial Accounting & Controlling modules) and advanced Excel capability
• Proven ability to identify efficiencies, solve problems, and drive continuous improvement
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence across operational and finance teams
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, and results-driven with a collaborative approach
• Customer-focused mindset with strong communication skills and business partnering capability
