Billini is a leading Australian fashion footwear and accessories brand with a strong retail and e-commerce presence across Australia and internationally. Our business relies on effective product selection, range planning, supplier relationships, inventory control and trend analysis to ensure that our collections remain commercially successful and aligned with customer demand.

 

To support our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Retail Buyer to join our team.

 

The Role

You will be the responsible for selecting and purchasing fashion footwear, accessories and related retail products for resale across Billini’s retail stores and online channels. The role involves analysing sales performance, monitoring stock levels, researching market trends, negotiating with suppliers, planning seasonal ranges and ensuring that the right products are purchased at the right quantities, price points and delivery timelines.

 

Responsibilities include:

·         Monitor sales data, stock levels, sell-through performance and product trends to identify purchasing requirements and commercial opportunities.

·         Research fashion trends, customer demand, competitor ranges, supplier information and market conditions to support buying decisions.

·         Negotiate product cost, purchase quantities, delivery timelines, supply arrangements, trading terms and promotional support with suppliers.

·         Work with management to plan seasonal ranges, product launches, sales promotions and long-term buying strategies.

·         Establish merchandise plans in line with seasonal trends, budgetary requirements, sales targets and stock requirements.

 

Work Experience and Skills

·         Relevant qualification

·         Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.

·         Strong understanding of retail buying.

·         Ability to analyse sales data, stock reports, market trends and customer demand.

·         Experience negotiating with suppliers.

·         Strong commercial awareness.
