About the Albatec Services is a privately owned mining and civil services contractor delivering specialist rope access, geotechnical, ground support, drilling, shotcrete and maintenance solutions to some of Australia's leading mining companies.

Following significant growth across Western Australia and Queensland, we are seeking a commercially focused Finance Manager to join our leadership team and help drive the next phase of the business.

This is not a traditional desk-based accounting role. We are looking for someone who can provide financial leadership, commercial insight and strategic support across multiple operating entities.

The Role

Reporting directly to Management, you will take ownership of the group's finance function, ensuring accurate reporting while helping drive profitability, cashflow management and business performance.

You will be responsible for:

• Cashflow forecasting and working capital management

• Monthly management reporting and financial analysis

• Project profitability and performance reporting

• Budgeting and forecasting

• Oversight of payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable

• Managing external accountants and compliance obligations

• Monitoring debtors, creditors and WIP

• Supporting tender reviews and commercial decision-making

• Improving systems, reporting processes and financial controls

• Supporting future business growth, acquisitions and expansion opportunities

About You

You are commercially minded, proactive and enjoy being part of a growing business. You understand that numbers tell a story and can translate financial information into practical business decisions.

Ideally you will have:

• CPA or CA qualifications (or equivalent experience)

• Experience in mining services, construction, civil contracting or project-based industries

• Demonstrated experience with Xero and financial reporting systems is essential for this role

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• The ability to operate both strategically and hands-on when required

• Strong communication and leadership capabilities
