We are calling for Expressions of Interest from experienced Account Directors for a potential new account in NSW on behalf of an outsourced FM provider.

You will lead the delivery of integrated Facilities Maintenance services across a diverse, geographically dispersed property portfolio. This is a pivotal leadership role overseeing high-volume, transactional maintenance environments, where operational excellence, financial control, and client satisfaction are paramount.

This opportunity suits a proven FM leader who thrives in complexity—someone who can balance strategic oversight with hands-on operational leadership across multiple asset classes.

The Role

As Account Director, you will take full ownership of a new facilities management contract, delivering maintenance services and minor works, ensuring seamless service delivery across a large portfolio. Key areas will include stakeholder engagement, operational delivery, financial and contractual management, compliance and human resources.

You will act as the key client interface, leading a multidisciplinary team, strengthening relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring contractual KPIs and SLAs are consistently exceeded.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and optimise delivery across a highly transactional maintenance model with a focus on high-volume reactive and planned maintenance
  • Manage complex supply chains and contractor networks across a diverse property portfolio across multiple locations
  • Drive financial performance, margin improvement, and cost efficiencies
  • Champion a strong WHS culture, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement
  • Develop and mentor a high-performing leadership team
  • Provide strategic insight to clients, identifying innovation and value-add opportunities
  • Ensure robust governance, reporting, and operational transparency

About You:

You will be an executive FM professional with a track record of managing large-scale, multi-site portfolios ideally in housing, aged care or defence:

  • Extensive experience in Facilities Management or Property Services at a senior level
  • Proven success in managing high-volume maintenance operations
  • Strong commercial acumen with full P&L ownership experience
  • Deep understanding of WHS, compliance, and risk frameworks
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and client engagement skills
  • A leadership style that inspires, develops, and drives accountability

Why This Role?

  • This is an exciting potential new opportunity to lead a complex, high-profile FM portfolio with a growing provider
  • You will be operating at a strategic level with real influence over outcomes
  • Join a business that values performance, innovation, and leadership
  • A highly competitive executive package aligned to impact will be on offer.

If you're ready to take ownership of a demanding role and deliver excellence at scale, we'd like to hear from you.
