About Us

We are a growing corporate services business providing accounting, financial management, and administrative services to a group of private companies, including businesses operating within the construction industry.

We are seeking an organised and proactive Administration & Accounts Officer to support both our internal operations and multiple client entities. This is a varied role offering exposure to administration, finance, payroll support, and client services across a diverse portfolio of businesses.

Reporting directly to management, you will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day administration and financial operations of the business and our clients.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a diverse workload, takes pride in being organised, and can confidently manage both administrative and accounts-related responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
Accounts Support
  • Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions

  • Prepare invoices and assist with debtor management

  • Perform bank and account reconciliations

  • Assist with payroll processing and employee records

  • Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation

  • Support month-end reporting and finance administration

  • Data entry and record maintenance within accounting systems

Administration Support
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence

  • Prepare reports, letters, and business documentation

  • Maintain electronic and physical filing systems

  • Schedule meetings and coordinate appointments

  • Assist with onboarding and compliance documentation

  • Maintain client databases and records

  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, and service providers

  • Provide administrative support to Directors and team members

  • Assist with general office management and ad hoc tasks

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Previous experience in administration, accounts, bookkeeping, or a similar role

  • Strong organisational and time management skills

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

  • Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills

  • Experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook

  • Experience with MYOB or similar accounting software

  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
