About Us
We are a growing corporate services business providing accounting, financial management, and administrative services to a group of private companies, including businesses operating within the construction industry.
We are seeking an organised and proactive Administration & Accounts Officer to support both our internal operations and multiple client entities. This is a varied role offering exposure to administration, finance, payroll support, and client services across a diverse portfolio of businesses.
Reporting directly to management, you will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day administration and financial operations of the business and our clients.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a diverse workload, takes pride in being organised, and can confidently manage both administrative and accounts-related responsibilities.
Key ResponsibilitiesProcess Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions
Prepare invoices and assist with debtor management
Perform bank and account reconciliations
Assist with payroll processing and employee records
Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
Support month-end reporting and finance administration
Data entry and record maintenance within accounting systems
Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence
Prepare reports, letters, and business documentation
Maintain electronic and physical filing systems
Schedule meetings and coordinate appointments
Assist with onboarding and compliance documentation
Maintain client databases and records
Liaise with clients, suppliers, and service providers
Provide administrative support to Directors and team members
Assist with general office management and ad hoc tasks
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
Previous experience in administration, accounts, bookkeeping, or a similar role
Strong organisational and time management skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills
Experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
Experience with MYOB or similar accounting software
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
