About the role:

Our Eight Mile Plains office is seeking a full-time Administration Officer to provide quality operational administration support to the Service. 

The Administration Officer is responsible for answering of calls, processing discharges of clients via our Alayacare software, coding of invoices for payment, uploading of client documentation into Alayacare, handling of petty cash, postage and stationery orders, email correspondence and a range of general administrative duties and promoting and contributing to a positive team environment within the Service.

The pay-rate for the role will range from $30.73 - $31.84/hour depending on your experience. 
 
About you:

  • Demonstrated strong experience in a similar role, including word processing and filing. 

  • A commitment to the importance of high quality client service and an ability to provide friendly 
    and courteous service. 

  • Demonstrated ability to liaise, advise and work with staff, managers and clients at all levels and 
    deal with complex and sensitive interpersonal matters. 

  • Ability to work effectively as a member of a team and contribute to a positive and successful work 
    environment. 

  • Ability to assess priorities and manage competing deadlines both independently and as a member 
    of a team. 

  • Experience in the use of Microsoft desktop software, including Word, Excel and Outlook. 

  • Able to sustain a high level of concentration in a volume processing activity to ensure accuracy 
    and identify errors  

  • Demonstrated accounts payable/receivable and/or petty cash experience (desirable) 

  • General understanding of quality framework (desirable) 
     

Role Requirements:

  • Valid Aged Care Worker Screening Check: 
    o Current National Police Check OR 
    o Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.  
    NB:  NDIS Worker Screening Clearance is mandatory for Services/Facilities delivering 
    services to NDIS clients. 
    o Statutory Declaration if you have been a citizen or permanent resident of a country 
    other than Australia after turning 16.

  • Current Drivers Licence and own reliable vehicle 

  • Certificate in Business Administration or a related discipline – desirable 

  • Anglicare strongly encourages you to stay up to date with the immunisations recommended for 
    your role, as outlined in our Worker’s Immunisation Procedure.
