As our RTO Specialist, you will enable the effectiveness and compliance of our Enterprise Registered Training Organisation (RTO), ensuring our training frameworks meet regulatory standards while supporting operational excellence.

About the role:

This role is central to maintaining a compliant, high-performing RTO through governance, assurance, and continuous improvement. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders, trainers, and regulators to strengthen systems, drive improvements, and deliver training that meets national standards and business needs.

This role will see you:

  • Develop and implement RTO governance and compliance frameworks that align with legislative requirements and business goals
  • Maintain and continuously improve quality assurance systems to ensure training and assessment meet regulatory standards
  • Oversee the development and review of training and assessment resources supporting nationally accredited qualifications
  • Provide expert advice on current and emerging regulatory obligations, driving change and system improvements
  • Partner with stakeholders to manage compliance requirements and respond to regulatory matters effectively
  • Support the coordination and capability of trainers and assessors across the enterprise
  • Build strong relationships with internal leaders, external stakeholders, and regulators
  • Deliver clear compliance reporting and insights to support decision-making
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance training outcomes and systems

About you: 

You are a detail-oriented and proactive professional with a strong understanding of RTO compliance and vocational education frameworks. You bring a collaborative approach, strong stakeholder engagement capability, and a passion for driving improvement.

  • Demonstrated experience in learning and development systems and processes (mandatory)
  • Strong RTO governance and compliance experience (mandatory)
  • Degree qualification (preferred)
  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or working towards) (preferred)
  • Experience in a Training Management or similar role (preferred)
  • In-depth knowledge of the Australian Quality Training Framework and relevant legislation
  • Proven capability in designing and developing learning solutions aligned to standards
  • Strong understanding of vocational education, assessment, and adult learning principles
  • Highly developed stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail with compliance and reporting requirements
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving capability
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer-focused outcomes and continuous improvement
