Job Overview:

We are looking for a Junior Accountant. This position is responsible for managing daily banking operations, conducting quarterly compliance audits, and performing intercompany reconciliations. The successful candidate will also serve as the deputy (back-up) for the General Ledger function, and thus must possess full competency in GL processes. We are looking for an individual who thrives in a hands-on environment and is confident in liaising with both internal and external stakeholders on matters such as audit findings and supplier inquiries.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Banking related transactions: including payments, receipts, notification of received funds, and monthly reconciliations..

  • Intercompany reconciliations: complete reconciliations with HQ before monthly closing.

  • Management of the company's finance public mailbox: receive and reply to emails from suppliers and customers.

  • Deputy for the General Ledger function: master the full GL process to ensure the ability to take over all related tasks when required.

  • Other tasks as assigned by CFO.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, obtained in Australia.

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting.

  • Solid understanding of banking operations (payments, receipts, reconciliations).

  • Familiarity with an ERP system (SAP, CRM, OA).

  • Proficient in English and Chinese (written and spoken) – essential for stakeholder communication.

  • Advanced Excel skills.
