Primary Teacher

Contract Type: Contract Position Part Time (0.80 FTE)

Applications are invited from suitably qualified teachers, including graduates, to apply for a part time, fixed term, teaching position at St Joseph's School. This position is for the remainder of the 2026 school year, teaching Prep to Grade 6.

Applicants must embrace a spirit of working in partnership with colleagues, students and parents in an exciting learning environment.

We are especially looking for a teacher who is:

  • Committed to positively promoting the Catholic Identity of the school
  • Committed to engage in evidence-based pedagogy through a team approach to learning and teaching
  • Committed to contributing to the Whole School Approach to Positive Behaviour Support

Special Requirements

  • V.I.T. Registration
  • Accreditation to Teach Religious Education in a Catholic School, or preparedness to obtain accreditation is highly desirable
