Senior Client Manager – Advisory & Client Leadership

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Client Manager to oversee a portfolio of clients, deliver high-level management reporting and financial analysis, and contribute to the development of team capability through review, mentoring and support. This is a senior client-facing position for someone who enjoys taking ownership, driving quality outcomes and adding real value to clients.
About the Role
This is a hands-on, senior role where you’ll manage client relationships, review financial work, provide strategic guidance and support the development of junior team members. You’ll work closely with business owners and decision-makers, helping ensure accurate reporting, strong financial visibility and practical advice that supports growth and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a portfolio of clients and oversee the delivery of monthly reporting, analysis, compliance and advisory work to a consistently high standard.
Review financial data and reporting, lead client finance discussions, and provide practical insights, budgets and forecasts to support decision-making.
Provide high-level client guidance across management accounting, compliance and business performance matters while supporting continuous improvement in systems and processes.
Contribute to team capability through review, mentoring and support of junior team members.
What We’re Looking For
CA/CPA qualified with 10+ years’ experience in a senior management accounting, client management or advisory role.
Strong technical capability across management reporting, reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting and relevant business tax obligations including GST, PAYG, FBT and Payroll Tax.
Demonstrated ability to review work, maintain quality standards, build strong client relationships and communicate confidently with a range of stakeholders.
Advanced Excel skills, confidence with technology, and a proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach. Experience with Power BI and AI tools will be highly regarded.
Australian work rights are required.
