  • About the roleWe are seeking a Credit Manager to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis.
  • As an Elders Credit Manager, you will assist with new client approvals, as well as assist and prepare client reviews.

You will also monitor debtor exposures and assist, when necessary, with collection of overdue accounts, efficiently and effectively applying approved credit policies/processes.

  • Key Responsibilities Assess financial information and evaluate credit applications for approval
  • Manage and oversee corporate and complex accounts, ensuring effective risk management
  • Prepare clear, accurate credit submissions and supporting documentation
  • Assist with training within the Credit Team and the broader Network
  • Work to maximise the recovery of overdue and provisioned debts
  • Assist with dispute resolution and recovery actions
  • Provide practical credit advise and technical guidance to branch teams
  • Provide back up to the Regional Credit Manager, providing leadership support and coverage as required
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to maximise recovery outcomes while maintaining customer relationships
  • Monitor debtor exposures and credit limits, ensuring alignment with credit policy*
  • About you Strong understanding of credit risk management and financial assessment
  • Proven experience managing complex accounts with a balance of risk and commercial outcomes
  • Solid financial statement analysis capability
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Demonstrated experience in mentoring or supporting team members
  • Experience in the agricultural sector or a strong interest in rural industries (highly regarded)
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, or similar discipline
  • Current and valid driver’s licence*
