About the Role
We are currently seeking a Systems Accountant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across finance, systems, reporting, and process improvement within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Working closely with Finance, Payroll, IT, and Operations teams, you will play a key role in supporting and improving our financial systems, maintaining data integrity, and helping drive efficiencies across the business.

What you’ll be doing

  • Manage and support the company’s finance systems, including Acumatica (ERP)

  • Assist with system improvements, upgrades, and process automation

  • Maintain accurate financial data, reporting, and system integrity

  • Support month-end reporting and financial processes

  • Troubleshoot system issues and provide support to internal teams

  • Develop and improve financial reports and dashboards

  • Work closely with Finance, Payroll, IT, and Operations teams

  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and streamline processes

  • Maintain and review standard costs of raw materials, labour, and overheads

  • Assist with inventory valuation and reconcilliation

What we’re looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field

  • Previous experience in a Systems Accountant, Finance Systems, or similar role

  • Strong understanding of accounting and financial processes.

  • Experience using ERP or accounting systems – previous experience with MYOB Acumatica is highly advantageous

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Advanced attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments

  • Intermediate to advanced Excel and reporting skills preferred
