We are a well-established national law firm specialising in complex transactional work across public and private markets. Our Corporate Services function plays a critical role in supporting legal teams and leadership, ensuring smooth financial and operational performance across the business.
About the role:
Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role is integral to the day-to-day finance operations. You’ll work closely with senior finance stakeholders and support a broad range of accounting functions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Daily bank reconciliations and transaction processing
- Accounts Payable processing, including disbursements
- Preparation and uploading of weekly payment runs
- Credit card and expense management
- Supporting month-end reporting and data preparation
- Accounts Receivable support, including billing and debtor follow-ups
- Maintaining accuracy across financial systems (Xero & ActionStep)
You are a proactive and detail-driven finance professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, professional environment.
You will bring:
- Previous experience in bookkeeping or accounting (professional services desirable)
- Intermediate skills in Xero and Microsoft Office (essential)
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Professional communication skills and a client-focused mindset
- Experience with ActionStep (highly regarded)
