Application Specialist

The purpose of this role is to provide high-level specialist support and advice for enterprise clinical applications, ensuring agreed service levels are maintained while contributing to service improvement, system stability and the delivery of quality digital health services across Queensland Health.

What you'll do

In this role you will provide specialist support for enterprise clinical applications, manage incidents, problems, changes and service requests within an ITIL framework, monitor and maintain application performance and availability, support capacity planning and continuity activities, collaborate with technical specialists, vendors and end users to ensure effective service delivery, prepare application support reports and performance information, contribute to system improvements and enhancements, and develop and maintain technical documentation, procedures and user guides.

About you

We are searching for someone who:

• Has experience supporting enterprise applications within an ICT environment
• Has knowledge of ITIL service management processes including incident, problem and change management
• Can provide high-level technical advice and troubleshooting support
• Has strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
• Can communicate complex technical information to a range of audiences
• Has experience supporting clinical applications or healthcare systems (highly desirable)
