Accounts Receivable Officer

We're partnering with a well-known Australian business to recruit an Accounts Receivable Officer into a high-performing finance team.

You'll be supporting a complex, multi-entity environment with responsibility across 30+ business units, working closely with stakeholders throughout the organisation to ensure cash flow, reconciliations and debtor management processes run smoothly.

Working as part of a close-knit finance team, you'll have significant exposure to operational leaders and play a key role in helping drive financial outcomes across the business.

Responsibilities

• Daily and weekly bank reconciliations
• Managing accounts receivable across multiple entities and ledgers
• Monitoring aged debtors and outstanding balances
• Building relationships with operational stakeholders to assist with debt recovery activities
• Preparing AR reporting and reconciliations
• Investigating and resolving payment discrepancies
• Supporting process improvement and automation initiatives

Requirements

• Previous experience in Accounts Receivable
• Strong reconciliation experience
• Comfortable working across multiple entities, cost centres or business units
• Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships across all levels of a business
• Organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities
• Experience in high-volume environments will be highly regarded
