About Us
DSS Facilities is a leading provider of security, cleaning, concierge, and facilities management services across Australia. We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Officer to join our growing team in Sydney.
About the Role
This role is ideal for someone with previous experience in the cleaning or security industry who understands high-volume workforce operations, timesheets, invoicing, and client-focused service environments.
As an Accounts Officer, you will support the day-to-day finance operations of the business while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timely processing of accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts payable and receivable processing
Client invoicing and reconciliations
Following up on outstanding accounts
Processing staff timesheets and payroll support
Bank reconciliations
Maintaining accurate financial records
Assisting with month-end reporting
General finance and administration support
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in an Accounts Officer role
Experience within the cleaning or security industry is preferred
Strong experience using Xero
High attention to detail and organisational skills
Good Microsoft Excel skills
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
