Accountant

We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant (General) to join our growing team in Cranebrook, NSW. This role will support the financial and operational management of the business and is ideal for a candidate with strong accounting knowledge, analytical skills and experience in business financial operations.

The successful candidate will work closely with management to assist with budgeting, financial reporting, compliance and day-to-day accounting activities within a fast-paced transport environment.

Task & responsibilities

• Preparing financial statements, management reports and budgets

• Monitoring company income, expenditure and cash flow

• Managing accounts payable and receivable processes

• Preparing BAS, payroll and taxation-related documentation

• Conducting bank reconciliations and maintaining accounting records

• Assisting with financial forecasting and cost control strategies

• Analysing operational expenses and identifying efficiencies

• Liaising with external accountants, suppliers and financial institutions

• Ensuring compliance with company policies and Australian financial regulations

• Supporting administrative and finance operations across the business

Qualification & experience

• Relevant qualifications in Accounting, Finance or related field

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting

• Good organisational and analytical skills

• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software

• Strong communication and attention to detail

At least 1 year full time experience.
