Accountant - NDIS Claims

Windgap Foundation is currently seeking a Claims and Services Accountant to join our team. 

The Claims and Services Accountant is responsible for managing NDIS billing, claims, reconciliations, and participant financial records to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely financial processing. Working closely with participants, plan managers, and internal teams, the role supports invoicing, claims resolution, reporting, and financial administration while contributing to process improvements and maintaining compliance with NDIS requirements. 

Ideal candidates will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience in accounting and NDIS financial operations.

Essential Criteria: 

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High level of computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
• Current NDIS Worker Check Clearance
• Qualification in Accounting or related field and/or experience in Accounting or NDIS financial services preferred
• Experience with financial and client management systems such as Microsoft Dynamics Navision, Business Central, CIMSability, Lumary, or MYP is desirable
