Accounts Clerk

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our growing team. The successful candidate will support our accounting operations by maintaining accurate financial records and assisting with day-to-day accounting functions.

Task & responsibilities

• Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Data entry of financial transactions into accounting software 
• Reconciling bank statements and company accounts
• Assisting with payroll processing
• Preparing and maintaining financial records and documentation
• Supporting BAS preparation and compliance reporting
• Liaising with clients regarding financial documentation
• Assisting senior accountants and bookkeepers with administrative tasks

Qualification & experience

• Relevant qualification in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or Finance
• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience (preferred)
• Proficiency in accounting software (Xero/MYOB/QuickBooks)
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
